Office Admninistrator

Job Description

This person’s main responsibility will be to provide administration support to the project team as well as maintain the needs of the functioning office. This person will take on administrative tasks from the project team and upper management as well as hold the function as a scribe during meetings when required. This person will be the main point of contact for internal field staff, as well as general public for all general inquires.

Responsibilities

    • Assisting members of the management team with general administrative
    • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
    • Schedule and confirm appointments
    • Perform data entry and update databases as needed
    • Compile data, statistics and other information
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
    • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
    • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
    • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
    • Answer electronic enquiries
    • Comply with company policies and safety procedures
    • Maintain daily progress communication with clients
    • In-house Health & Safety training to be completed when instructed
    • Additional administrative support as required.

Requirements

  • Completion of a one- or two-year program for Administrative Assistant, Business Administration, office Administration or other related discipline, or equivalent on the job experience

  • 3+ years of experience in similar role

  • Ability to work in office setting 5 days a week
